This causes her spirit to frequently slip out of her body, turning her into a half-phantom. She hires Yato to fix her condition.

Episode 2: “Snow-like”
Hiyori tries to adjust to her new condition. Yato takes on a request to find a missing girl, but it turns out to be a trap by a vengeful spirit. Yato defeats the spirit with the help of Yukine, a young spirit who becomes Yato’s new Regalia (a weapon derived from a spirit).

Episode 3: “Bidden Calamity”
Yato tries to train Yukine as his Regalia, but Yukine is rebellious and resents Yato. Hiyori becomes concerned about Yato’s carefree attitude and Yukine’s unhappiness. They encounter another god, Tenjin, who warns Yato about Yukine’s behavior.
