DESCRIPTION
“I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability” is a Japanese light novel series written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. Initially published online via the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in October 2019, Kodansha later acquired the series. Since July 2020, Kodansha has released seven volumes under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint.
A manga adaptation, illustrated by Yōsuke Kokuzawa, began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app in June 2020. As of February 2024, the manga has been collected into fourteen tankōbon volumes. The series also received an anime television adaptation produced by Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab, which aired from April to June 2024. A second season has been announced.
The story follows an ordinary sorcerer who, despite lacking a noble bloodline and magical aptitude, dies in a duel. He is reincarnated as the seventh prince of the Kingdom of Saloum, NAME OF Lloyd. In this new life, Lloyd is blessed with a perfect environment to learn and master any magic he desires, armed with the knowledge and memories from his previous life. The series explores Lloyd’s journey as he takes full advantage of his new status and abilities to perfect his magical skills at his own pace.
EPISODE 1 – “I Reincarnated as the seventh Prince”
in the first episode, “I Reincarnated because the seventh Prince,” a man who died because he lacked expertise in sorcery is reincarnated as Lloyd, the seventh Prince of the Saloum country. Lloyd has a robust magical bloodline and a flair for sorcery. Someday, he sneaks into a sealed archive and awakens the Demon of the Forbidden Tome.

Sylpha seems to have defeated the bearwolves, however whilst Pazuzu unleashes his miasma, the situation fast becomes dire. Sylpha and Tao are unable to fight returned and find themselves cornered, however then Lloyd ultimately takes motion.
