Chainsaw Man is a dark fantasy Anime about a down-on-his-luck teenager named Denji. After a betrayal, he merges with a chainsaw devil named Pochita and becomes Chainsaw Man himself! He uses his devil powers to fight other devils and make a living as a Devil Hunter for the government. The story is known for its action, dark humor, and unexpected twists.
Chainsaw Man Episode 1: Dog & Chainsaw
Chainsaw Man 1st Episode Denji, a down-on-his-luck teenager burdened by his deceased father’s debt, works as a Devil Hunter with Pochita, a chainsaw devil resembling a dog. Betrayal by the Yakuza leads to Denji’s death, but Pochita merges with him, turning Denji into Chainsaw Man – a devil-human hybrid with chainsaw parts. Makima, a mysterious Public Safety Devil Hunter leader, takes Denji in, offering him a life of comfort in exchange for using his powers for good.
Episode 2: Arrival in Tokyo
Denji arrives at the Devil Hunter HQ in Tokyo, bewildered by city life. He meets Aki Hayakawa, a stoic Devil Hunter with a grudge against devils, and Power, a violent Blood Fiend who becomes his partner. Denji struggles to adjust to his new life, yearning for simple pleasures like a good meal and a date.
Episode 3: Meowy’s Whereabouts
Denji’s new dream is to “touch some boobs.” Power offers to fulfill this dream if he helps her find her missing pet, a small devil named Meowy. They discover Meowy is being held by the Bat Devil, leading to Denji’s first major fight as Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man Episode 4: Rescue
Denji defeats the Bat Devil in a brutal battle, rescuing Meowy despite Power’s attempt to get him killed. As Denji revels in the prospect of achieving his dream, he’s ambushed by another Devil Hunter.

Episode 7: The Taste of a Kiss
Denji survives Sawatari’s attack but loses an arm. Power donates some of her blood to heal him, forming a temporary contract that leaves them weak. Makima pays a visit to Denji and divulges more information about the Gun Devil while showing an unusual interest in him.

Denji recovers and rejoins Aki and Power. They take on the Leech Devil, another minor mission to gain experience. The episode delves deeper into Aki’s motivations and his bond with his contracted Fox Devil, Curse.
Chainsaw Man Episode 9: From Kyoto
A group of powerful Devil Hunters from Kyoto arrives in Tokyo. Among them is the stoic Captain Kishibe, who takes a personal interest in Denji. The episode introduces the concept of “Fiends” – humans permanently transformed by Devils.
Episode 10: Bruised & Battered
Tensions rise between the Tokyo and Kyoto Devil Hunters. Kishibe trains Denji in hand-to-hand combat to improve his fighting style. Meanwhile, Power acts recklessly, leading to trouble with the authorities.
